Stronger, Rupiah Almost See Through 8900

JAKARTA, Exchange rate of rupiah against the U.S. dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot market on Monday afternoon, rose almost exceeded Rp 8,900 as market players increasingly active buying triggered by the strengthening dollar Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) Indonersia Stock Exchange.
The rupiah exchange rate against the U.S. dollar rose by 23 points to USD 8902-USD 8912 per U.S. dollar from Rp 8925 to Rp 8935 per U.S. dollar.
Chief Equiety PT First Asia Capital, Irfan Kurniawan, said the increased dollars to reach USD 8902 it had reached a point beyond which is Rp 8905 per U.S. dollar. According to him, these conditions indicate that the action of market players bought on the rupiah is very high.
Market participants, according to Irfan Kurniawan, triggered by the increase in the re-IDX IDX reach 3630 more as an ever achieved before. "Achievement index that resulted in more and more actors who dared to buy dollars, pushing the Indonesian currency sharp shot," he said.


Substantial rise in the rupiah, he added, giving the market confidence that the rupiah will bounce back because of the increasingly strong positive factor.
 
The increase in stock prices on Wall Street that induce regional markets in particular encourage the foreign currency market participants reacted positively to the rupiah.
Moreover, foreign players are optimistic that Indonesia's economy will grow larger than 2010, then the chances of dollars to ride again was great. "We are optimistic that the rupiah apaibila no obstacles, will bounce back through the level of Rp 8,900 per dollar," he said.
